Introduction!

ECHO & COLOR DOPPLER CENTRE , JROP DIAGNOSTICS  (www.echocenter.in ) was established in 1996 with major efforts of Dr. D K Gupta  and Dr. Rakesh Gupta . At that time , no facility of echocardiography was available in this part of delhi and patients has to be rushed to Diwan Chand Xray Clinic at Connaught Place or Shyam Lal Nursing Home , Darya Ganj.

It was initially started in a rented premises of Sunder Lal Jain Hospital , Ashok Vihar –II , Delhi . Dr. Rakesh Gupta had just arrived from USA after completing his training in echocardiography from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, USA. It was a blessing for this area by having state of art echocardiography facilities including stress echocardiography . Subsequently , the centre was first to acquire transesophageal facilities in 1999 with another addition of state of art color Doppler equipment.

ECHO & COLOR DOPPLER CENTRE , JROP DIAGNOSTICS got its another feather in cap when Col. S K Parashar , the leading name in echocardiography in India , better known as Indian father of echocardiography ,  joined the centre in 1997. The centre was instrumental in doing many novice things in the area , helping all class of patients with their perfect diagnosis and treatment.

ECHO & COLOR DOPPLER CENTRE , JROP DIAGNOSTICS got another boost in the month of april 2000 , when they started Basic Echo training program in India for budding cardiologists . At the same time , a free echo check up camp was arranged for poor patients of one week durations . A lot many patients were benefitted with this program by having their echo done free of cost and getting free consultations too.

The ECHO & COLOR DOPPLER CENTRE , JROP DIAGNOSTICS kept its pace of development till 2006 , when it was forced to shift to another place by draconian policy of  Sunder Lal Jain Hospital managements ( DR. Chander Prakash & Mr. V K Jain ) in 2007, which ultimately proved to be “Blessings in disguise ” for this centre . ECHO & COLOR DOPPLER CENTRE , JROP DIAGNOSTICS then shifted to present place  at C-1/16 , Ashok Vihar , Phase II , Delhi  110052 ,near Pragati market and Presidium / Prudence School . This place is hardly 2 kms away from Sunderlal Jain hospital , which is defunct hospital now since 2018. We boast of providing one of the best Echo & Color Doppler facilities in the area , where its not only the machine but also the man behind the machine is important to us . Every patient is a guest to us and we provide the state of art facility in Color Doppler , which are comparable or better than to the best available in the city , country and world hospital. We are the only centre in Delhi  , which boast of following things in Delhi and nationally:

• 1.The centre is located in aesthetic 400 sy yards building premises , which is fully airconditioned..

• 2.The centre has three Echo & Color Doppler machine for doing all types of Doppler studies. We have the worlds best echo Doppler machine E95 since 2017 ,not available nearby in the best of the hospital.

• 3. Providing CD recording to the patients of complete echo study.

• 4. Complete record of patients report for last 13 years , which can be retrieved for comparison.

• 5. The reports are accepted in all major hospital in delhi and India.
• 6. The Echo & Color Doppler centre not only does echo but also trains other doctor colleagues echo (www.echocourse.in)

• 7. Today ,as on 15-05-2020 , we boast of doing morethan 1,00,000 echo since its inception (1996).
